I am a board-certified general surgeon with nearly three decades of experience. I attended college in New York and moved to Pennsylvania for medical school and residency. I practiced general surgery in Maryland and New Hampshire. My career focus moved to wound care in 2020, laying the groundwork for a return to New York to join Nuvance Health as Vassar Brothers Medical Center Director of Wound Care Services in 2023. I have extensive experience with all wound types, including arterial wounds, venous wounds, surgical wounds and traumatic wounds. My focus is on patient education, helping people learn the best way to encourage wound healing, prevent recurrence and improve their quality of life. I continue to operate, performing debridement, wound coverage and wound closure procedures.
