Description
Dr. James Nitzkorski is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist. Dr. Nitzkorski specializes in gastrointestinal cancer surgery, such as colon and rectal cancer, esophageal cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, melanoma and also rare tumors. His special interests include minimally invasive surgery when possible, clinical trials and complex surgery. Dr. Nitzkorski runs one of the only centers for Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) and Isolated Limb Infusion (ILI) in the region. Dr. Nitzkorski was raised in the Hudson Valley and returned to the area after spending time in New York City and Philadelphia.
